A mining engineer with over eleven years experience in commercial management in underground and surface gold, nickel and coal mining sectors in Australia, Indonesia and the construction sector in the United Kingdom. Graham and has spent the last five years with Sides Engineering Pty Ltd as the Contracts Manager and Commercial Director before acting for the company’s owners in the merger. Following the merger, Graham was made MD of Sides and an executive director of Australian Drilling Solutions.
Jim Polizos
Director - Operations & Business Development
A qualified Mechanic with over 25 years experience in the drilling industry and running small to medium companies. Jim was previously the General Manager and Managing Director. Jim focuses on operational oversight of all projects and developing innovative technical solutions for client’s programs
Chris Pugsley
Project Support Manager
With over 25 years experience in the drilling industry, Chris is responsible for providing day to day operational support to all site teams, including procurement, logistics and coordination of field maintenance support.
Carolyn Southouse
Administration Manager
Carolyn has been with Sides in excess of 10 years and along with Chris is responsible for coordinating and supporting the day to day site operations teams on each project. Carolyn responsibilities include statutory reporting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, travel and human resources.
John Albanis
Contracts Manager
John Albanis is a professional construction engineer with over 35 years experience on projects up to $500 million in value, commercially astute with proven experience in contracts, risk and building successful projects. John has extensive experience in multi-disciplinary projects in oil and gas, infrastructure and pipelines. Since 2000, John has worked for AGL, Origin Energy and Epic Energy on a number of oil and gas projects including acting as the owner’s representative for the $400 million Bass Gas Project.
Rhonda Moloney
Business Manager
Rhonda was the former operations manager of a Victorian drilling contractor before commencing with Sides. She brings extensive knowledge and experience to the company and is responsible for marketing, QA, business systems and operational support of the Victorian based projects.
Jon Beer
WA Manager
Jon has in excess of twenty years operational drilling experience in Australia, Asia and Africa. Previously a senior manager with Boart Longyear he now runs the WA based businesses of the group.
