To complete contracts for geotechnical investigations, it is common to utilise either Sides' UDR 500 Drill Rig, Mole Pioneer, Gemco H22 or Edson 3000. All rigs are capable of drilling down to 200m using PQ drill strings which are the common offshore geotechnical sampling tools. The rigs can be matched with HQ drilling systems for deeper work as well as ODEX type systems.
Sides has also completed CPT programs in conjunction with third party providers.
